Huxley College of the Environment is an interdisciplinary environmental college at Western Washington University. The college is named after Thomas Henry Huxley.[1]
The college's two departments offer degrees in Environmental Studies (B.A. and M.S in Geography, B.A. and M.Ed. in Environmental Education, and B.A. in Planning and Environmental Policy), and Environmental Science (B.S. and M.S.). Huxley College also offers combined bachelor degrees in Economics/Environmental Studies and Journalism/Environmental Studies, and Environmental Studies and Geography programs to supplement Western Washington's Woodring College of Education Elementary Education program.
